We made it to Cape Town after our strange 11 hour flight. during take off, a sticky yellow substance began dripping from the overhead locker (over head bin for us Americans). Needless to say It got all over Michael and me. Not a great way to start the flight. We had to get up while we were still climbing and go to the loo to clean up!! The flight attendant cleaned up the liquid and it was soon resolved. A stressful start to the flight. (Someone put a container of food in locker) Things got better though. This was the longest flight I had ever been on and it felt like it but we are here now. We were picked up a d taken to our guest house, got a massage and then went for a walk. The weather was beautiful today. After our walk, we had cocktails by the pool and in the living room once it was starting to get chilly out. Had dinner at Manna Epicure. The meal was excellent. Back in the room now resting. We have to get up at 7 am since we are getting picked up at 9 am for our city tour. Cheers until tomorrow.
